Secrets Core Keeper Gameplay Top



Hi there, Explorers! We hope you’re all having a great time in Core Keeper and that you’re enjoying all the new content, features, and secrets in the underground.

Bigger jumps, pelo gravity, faster running, a dash, a grappling hook, unique weapons etc. Even when these items don't offer a mechanical change, they often combine with other items that do, leading to a more enjoyable exploration and feeling of progression. It is this sense of progression that makes up for the fact that it has a similar mining system to core keeper's. But pelo such equivalent exists for core keeper, and it is disappointing to unlock the next tier of pickaxe when the only thing you're looking forward to is .... the next tier of pickaxe.

Between dodging all the projectiles that will 2 shot me, and having to keep moving away from the boss, yet somehow also having to be able to be in the right position to kill all the summons that heal it, absolutely sucks and is not fun at all. I was hav...

Killing Glurch spawns a chest with a few random items and a crystal. Take all of the items (and the chest!), then put the crystal in Glurch's statue near the Core. This will partially power the Core and open up a few new crafting recipes at the Glurch statue.

Invisible Items: Some placeable items are becoming invisible after the player dies/respawns. We’d all love to be able to turn invisible, but no item should have that much power!

In the endgame though, its a completely different expieirence, where a lot of the bosses are basically a walking wall of death, that kills the player instantly after touching them. Melee also have a lot of "HP on hit" items, which just feels like pure cheese to play with, tbh.

The early game is basically just punching through barriers and filling up your pockets. This digging allows you to excavate different regions and grow the map. But the opening belies much more complexity behind the rocky walls. Like in Valheim

It seems that for now this game ID is necessary. You can’t Core Keeper Gameplay currently drop into a stranger’s game or just open your own game to other players.

TL;DR: Core keeper is a game with potential, but with very shallow progression systems that can make it feel repetitive very quickly.

Minimap: This shows you the map of the area immediately around you. Icons for bosses that you have located will also show up on this map, giving you an idea of which direction you need to go in order to reach them.

This time I'm running because I found a carrot for the first time and I can't wait to see what new meals I can cook with it. In Core Keeper I may be trapped in the dark with unspeakable horrors, but I'm also comfortable enough to get excited about making a stew.

Take it slowly at first, and don’t rush into combat. You’ll eventually be able to craft armor, but don’t prioritize that over keeping the rest of your tools in good working order.
